Balcia Comprehensive Insurance: key terms and conditions
In accordance with Balcia vehicle insurance terms and conditions No. LT-002.05 (effective from 2026-05-01). You can find a comparison with other insurers on the Casco insurance page.
When does the deduction not apply?
In the event of a collision with an animal, loss or theft of keys, paintless bodywork repair, or glass replacement at a Balcia-designated service center, as well as when the damage was caused by another person.
Repairs and replacement car
The vehicle can be repaired at a service center of your choice, including an authorized dealership. No depreciation is applied to parts for vehicles up to 5 years old.
Replacement vehicle – for the entire duration of repairs in Lithuania; up to 30 days if abroad or in the event of theft.
Exceptional protection
Tire and rim damage, hydrolock, fuel misfuelling, damage at a car wash or service center.
If the car’s market value is lower than the outstanding lease balance, the difference is also covered.

Yes, if Balcia requests them when the contract is being concluded. If the photos are not provided, a higher deductible may apply in the event of a loss.
Does Balcia Casco insurance allow for car repairs at an authorized dealership?
Yes. The Balcia Casco terms and conditions allow for the vehicle to be repaired at a repair shop of your choice, including an authorized dealership. In such cases, the payout may be limited to the insurer’s cost estimate.
Does Balcia Casco calculate depreciation for parts?
No depreciation on parts is calculated for vehicles up to 5 years old. For older vehicles, depreciation is applied in accordance with the procedure established in the rules.
Does Balcia Casco cover the leasing gap?
Yes. In the event of theft or total loss, if the car’s market value is lower than the outstanding lease balance, Balcia’s terms also cover this difference.
Does Balcia travel insurance cover civil liability?
Medical expenses are always included, and you can add travel civil liability insurance as an optional extra. It covers damages you accidentally cause to another person’s health or property while abroad.
How do I cancel or modify a Balcia policy purchased through "Man ramu"?
Contract amendments and terminations are administered by Balcia, so please contact them directly at info@balcia.lt or 19001.
Upon termination of the contract, the unused portion of the premium is refunded in accordance with the insurance rules.
How quickly will I receive the Balcia policy purchased through "Man ramu"?
The policy is sent via email immediately after payment.
