Balcia has once again improved its Casco insurance rules
Comprehensive insurance covers losses if your vehicle is damaged or destroyed in a sudden and unexpected event.

Balcia has improved its car insurance rules. It has not limited the customer’s freedom to choose a repair company, and now:
- Broader glass risk protection – includes not only glass, but also lights and side mirrors;
- Keys without deductible – in case of damage or theft, the customer will not have to pay extra;
- Traffic accidents – from now on, insurance also covers driving off the road;
- Replacement vehicle – provided for the entire repair period in Lithuania (at Balcia partner service stations), and if necessary – alternatives: sharing services, taxis or scooters;
- Fire risk – includes spontaneous combustion due to short circuit;
- Accident insurance – now simply integrated into CASCO, with a clear payment procedure in case of injuries;
- Leasing protection – a payment not less than the client’s obligations to the financier.

Insurance companies usually require the submission of photos of the car when concluding a contract, but it is not always clear what happens if the photos are not submitted. Balcia has clearly regulated – if the photos are not submitted – the deductible is increased by +300 EUR (Exceptions apply to new cars or extended contracts).
